    Description

    Antique Westerwald beer mug with a pewter lid from around 1890.
    The beer mug is handmade in a simple gray shade without decoration.
    It was given a salt glaze during the fire.
    It has a pewter lid with the inscription: Brauerei & Gastwirtschaft / W.Krackardt / Prosit.
    A brew kettle, ladles, stirrers and hop tendrils are on display.
    The unit of measurement 1L (liter) is incised on the front.
    The piece was made around 1890 in a pottery stronghold in the Westerwald in Germany.
